Mounts in palmistry are same as planets in vedic astrology. A mount is a little flesh or bump on your palm underneath fingers, it can be flat, firm or soft, but they will not be too hard. There are seven mounts in Western Palmistry and nine mounts in Indian Palmistry.

Note:  Mount of Mars is located in three places on hand.

1) Mercury Mount

2) Sun Mount

3) Saturn Mount
4) Jupiter Mount
5) 1st Mars Mount
6) Venus Mount
7) Moon Mount
8) 2nd Mars Mount
9) Plain of Mars Mount

In Indian Palmistry there are two more mounts Rahu and Ketu.
