Tip of the Thumb On Hand | Palmistry

The tip of the thumb is as important as the tip of the fingers, if not more so. A square tip is the common sense and practical tip. It is the one which adds strength when found on the deficient will phalange. If the phalange is already long, it adds obstinacy to the strong will. The spatulate tip adds all the spatulate qualities to the thumb — originality, fire, action and creative restlessness. With the long will phalange, spatulate tip is a definite menace as excess of every thing is bad. The conic and pointed thumb makes the subject impressionable, impulsive and idealistic and thus takes away some strength from the will phalange. In combination with an excessive length of will phalange the subject will be less tyrannical and less despotic. Thus such a tip softens or scales down the qualities of the phalange. Obviously, the conic tip on a deficient will phalange makes a subject hopelessly weak, shifting with every change of season.

A pronounced knot at the joint between the two phalanges adds strength to both phalanges by reducing impulsiveness and adding analytical approach.
