Myths about palmistry

It is a common notion that one gets a palm reading just for fun, provided by some hokey scam artist at a fair, never to entertain the possibility again. This is a myth. Since your palm readings are like a GPS rather than a map you can frame and hang for reference on a wall, you can and should keep checking in order to make the most of their potential. [http://indianpalmreading.blogspot.com]

Another myth about palmistry I often come across as a professional fortune-teller is the belief that palmistry can tell you exactly when you are going to die. I can't tell you how many times a client has plopped down in the chair and demanded that question of me. Now, it is true that there are ways to determine the likely timing of life events on your palms, just like a handy GPS might be able to guess the time it will take to make your commute to work in the morning. But just as you can take many routes to work and there might be unexpected travel delays en route, there's no way to tell for certain the exact timing of your death.

Admittedly, many chiromancers have deeply studied the subject of death in the palm over the course of human history. As a result, there is a collection of warning signs and correlations that tend to occur with the time or circumstances surrounding death or serious illness or injury Those valuable insights will not be ignored in this book; one of the best things about palmistry is being able to steer yourself in a new life direction if you see warning signs. However, re-member that the element of choice in Your life, as well as the constantly changing palm readings you'll see, confirm that there is no predictable date of death for each individual.

My own father had a palm reading as a young man that determined that his likely death date at that point in time looked to be aged forty-two. However, my dad ended up dying twenty years after that prediction, at age sixty-two. Why the difference? Maybe the palm reader was incorrect or lying, or perhaps my dad made changes in his lifestyle and outlook that contributed to the added decades of his life. Whatever you see in your palm, good or bad, know that you can make decisions in your life to steer it in a new direction.

The important principle of checking your palms on a frequent (even daily) basis

Remember that analogy about the road map of your des-tiny? A palm reading is like a snapshot of that road map, but the palms of your hands are more like a global po-sitioning system (GPS) that changes depending on each turn in the road. Keeping an eye on where you're going can be easy and fun. Each time you make choices in life, your palmistry readings can anticipate and reflect the changes that will come up as a result. Just as the tiniest portion of a fern leaf is a small, fractal representation of the whole plant, nature and the gods made your hands to tell the story of your existence in the universe. [http://indianpalmreading.blogspot.com]

How palms change

But wait a minute—wouldn't self-palmistry get boring? I mean, after all, you've still got the same hands with which you were born. Not so. In fact, your hands look a lot different from the pudgy baby hands of your past, and those changes have meaning in your life. Many of the changes in your hands happen slowly over time, so you might be the last person to notice if you haven't been looking for them.

A professional palm reader can easily pick up differences in the same way that a friend you haven't seen for a while might see right away that your hair has gotten longer or you've lost some weight, even when you haven't noticed it in the mirror. This book aims to train you in the art of detecting the subtle changes that palmistry can reveal, so that you can make changes in your life accordingly. [http://indianpalmreading.blogspot.com]
